Goodwill Flips

Image
I purchased some things from goodwill for $2.99 and with a little paint and elbow grease I was able to flip then into some really cool pieces.  - I forgot to take a before picture of the Boo Candle holder unfortunately :( It just had some wire mesh that was painted and was flaking off behind the letters. I put stained glass behind it and painted it with glass paint.

Etsy Shop!

Hi! Just posting an update since I've had a lot going on the last month. I've now set up an Etsy shop and I listed my first Items as of Sep 1st! Super excited I have 10 items listed so far and going to be working on 9 more this month. I just have to wait for my first glass shipment to arrive. I also decided to try my Stained glass and Jewelry making as a full time job. It's been a lot of learning not only in still figuring out the in's and out's of Stained glass but Learning about Online sales and marketing. I'll try to keep posting updates and take some pictures and document more of my projects. :) If you'd like to check out my Etsy site I have the link posted here. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Baelfyr?ref=seller-platform-mcnav

If you do need to touch up your soldering lines allow time for the glass to cool back down. 2. To remove Solder have the solder tip flat against the glass and then pull upwards. Then gently flick the solder beads onto a safe location...preferably away from your self and any exposed skin. 3. To Create Raised Solder lines have the tip vertical and pull the solder bead along your lines. 4. Be wary of to much flux within your lines as this can cause popping. So far I've found one dip into the flux (which I have place into the lid of my flux bottle so as not to contaminate the bottle) and then scrape the si...
